I’m thinking too far ahead in cosplays I know
but for Eridan I have to decide if I’m doing the cape or not
cause I’m matching Meaghan and Colton who are doing Kanaya and sober Gamzee and in the arc of the story where they all confront each other Eridan doesn’t wear his cape
so it’d make more sense if I left it out, right? yeah…
idk maybe I’ll just plan on making it and decide later, not to mention I’m sure to wear the cosplay again and might want it the next time…
Well, I mean, I don’t think anyone would fault you for having the cape! I certainly wouldn’t and Colton certainly isn’t, so it’s really up to you. I think it would be good to make it anyway as you said, just so you could have it for a regular old Eridan cosplay in the future.
He had a good idea, though - for a cool twist/if you wanted to match us even MORE, we were thinking of taking some gauze, bloody-ing it up with purple Eridan blood, and wrapping it around your middle, as if I really cut you in half. :)

haha I’d been entertaining the idea of bloodying the shirt itself but then I’d have to remake it the next time I cosplayed him, that seems like a much better idea
and yeah I’m gonna plan on the cape since I think I already have a pattern? and if I’ve lost it then I know which pattern to get and I just really like capes
